Our Client – online platform of active recreation tours management accumulated the data from hotel and flights booking services, specialized schools, equipment rentals, guides and other partners to offer the tour bundles to the clients. At the project realization timepoint Client was operating worldwide and offering more than 50 destinations, aggregating data from 300 suppliers and partner companies. As the next of business development client aimed to establish presence to Russian target audience
MCG team have performed diagnostics of all available resources, current online-platform functionality, sales and client support divisions business-processes and estimated the operating costs of each business unit. Next, our consultants have localized operational and commercial models to the Russian market specifics, assisted in team leads recruiting process and built up sales business-processes. Consultant team has also localized and enhanced the online-platform functionality, including: informational architecture (data storage and structuring), user interfaces, experience design and content management systems. Our team has also automated back-end processes of data aggregation to improve the tour parameters calculation experience for the user.
As a result of the project, Client has entered the Russian market, reduced total operational costs due to processes automation and increased sales conversion rates and average check. In two years of operations Russian market contributed in 7% of total worldwide company sales.
