Current portfolio evaluation. MCG will start with the assessment of your current portfolio. What are the synergies between your businesses? How is the interaction between businesses organized? Are there businesses that are detrimental to the portfolio? How might the situation change in the future? The result of the effort would be an assessment of each part of the business portfolio with clear recommendations on new adds, liquidations, or any other alterations.
M&A targets criteria set up. If the Client is in search for business/ projects add ups, MCG is ready to design a holistic list of characteristics to assess attractiveness of potential M&A targets. Next MCG will run an audit of companies/ projects available on the market and support initial negotiations with attractive targets.
M&A road-map design. As the targets for M&A are identified, MCG is ready to set up detailed plan which will lead to successful deal completion. The work stream involves but is not limited to identification of deal originators and supporters (e.g. financial or legal due diligence executors), key SHA and Term Sheet structuring and Client’s M&A team trainings.
