Study topic Procurement processes re-engineering
Client situation: The University’s procurement system had been non-transparent and inefficient, which leaded to slow and suboptimal decisions for materials supplies distribution among the faculties and departments.
How MCG helped: The MCG team mapped the current procurement business processes and identified all the participants involved. Together with the University’s task force, MCG developed new procurement mechanisms, which allowed logical and consistent processes with minimal number of participants. The system reporting and controlling processes were recently automated by the University’s own IT team.
